Austin is the smallest school in the State of Pennsylvania with a student population of approximately 280 students from pre-kindergarten to twelfth grade. The school provides a wide range of activities for the students consisting of five varsity sports and a variety of clubs and organizations. As a district there is a sense of family within the school. The teachers and administrators have the opportunity to get to know the students and their families on a personal level. Austin is a proud community that actively supports it's school and volunteer organizations such as the Fire Department and Ambulance. Because of this commitment, the community is a model for the Communities That Care Organization. This is a wonderful district in which visitors are welcome to stop in to view how a small school can overcome many obstacles inherent to maintaining a quality educational experience.
